Sunday 6 December 2009. Rowing teams
from across the globe will set off from
the Canary Islands to race for Antigua.
Whether or not Bexhill Trust
Challenger, winner of the first Indian
Ocean Rowing Race, crewed by the
youngest team, will be in the line up
could depend on you.
We need a minimum of £50,000 to be able to
enter and meet the challenge of winning ocean
rowing’s toughest challenges back-to-back. We may be able to raise £10,000
from donations from our growing band of supporters but that leaves us
seeking a major donor or two by the end of September.
Ian Allen, Nick McCorry, Phil McCorry plus Kieran Cahill, who rejoins the
three of the Indian Ocean crew, and their shore team are working flat out in
preparation, determined to raise thousands more pounds for The Stroke
Association. Please, if you can, help to make it happen.
